APW - Hamilton, Grade 967, 17J, 16S, heavy 14K gold original Jeannot & Shiebler HC, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#53976. Gross weight of assembled watch 83.8 dwt (130.3 g). Watch comes with an attached 12-inch gold-filled chain and a gold-filled small knife. The Grade 967 is rare with a total production of only 300 made which is the lowest production figure among Hamilton's 960s series grades.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running with some error in the flat of its balance motion, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, some very small marks tight around stem detent screw, small bit of oxide to smaller winding wheel; nearly flawless dial with extremely faint small hl above seconds-register and some minimal small fine scratches; excellent hands; case shows ample wear, no dents or dings, substantially reduced engine turning detail with portions of full loss; tight bow, crown shows substantial wear; good glass crystal. Chain and knife in excellent condition overall.
